Vancouver Hillel is inviting the community to celebrate Jewish diversity and Israel’s history of equality at the Vancouver Pride Parade July 31.
Last year, an enthusiastic crowd of students, rabbis and other friends received an enthusiastic ovation all along the parade route, where 700,000 people assembled to celebrate GLBTQ freedom. The Hillel contingent educated about the status of gay rights in Canada, Israel and other parts of the Middle East.
